Together with schools, we delivered initiatives that
made a difference
• Advanced leadership depth in the surrounding schooling community at the Principals Only Summit honing skills on building a learning organisation, with 16 Principals exploring mental models, achieving a shared vision, the tenets of team learning and the leadership pathways available to them for higher levels of success • Made available R200 000 in fee bursaries to deserving scholars and university students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds, donated over R600 000 in goods and services to schools and communities in need
Our Initiatives
Promoting Social Mobility and Equity •Education in South Africa is seen as a pathway to reduce historical inequalities resulting from apartheid. Schools provide opportunities for children from disadvantaged backgrounds to improve their socio-economic status. •Pro-poor policies such as no-fee schools and the National School Nutrition Programme (NSNP) help ensure that poverty is not a barrier to education.
Bridging the Digital Divide
Bridging the Digital Divide •There is an increasing focus to improve learning outcomes and equip learners with 21st-centuryskills. •Schools are being integrated into the broader goal of enhancing digital literacy for participation in a globalised world.
